My recent work reflects the infinite range of results in wood firing — we can’t control the moment and the angle at which the flame licks around the unglazed clay.
In other works, I’m enjoying the richness of classic shino and tenmoku surfaces; the way that these classic glazes interact with texture to create unique landscapes for each vessel.
